Pokémon Locals and Tournaments in Boynton Beach

Triad Cards & Gaming Boynton Beach runs Pokémon locals every Friday at 7:30 PM at 12355 Hagen Ranch Rd, Unit 601. Sign up at the counter when you arrive; Boynton events are entered in store while their online tickets are being set up. Official Play! Pokémon League Challenges run at our Wellington store, a short drive away, and are ticketed in our event tickets collection.

Pokémon at Boynton Beach every week

Friday night is Pokémon night at Boynton Beach. Bring a 60 card deck, sleeves and damage counters, come in a little before 7:30 PM, and sign up at the counter. The same night also runs Magic cEDH and Magic Draft, so the tables are full and there is always a trade happening between rounds. The rest of the Boynton week covers One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Riftbound, Magic Commander, Dragon Ball, Digimon, Gundam, Flesh and Blood and Union Arena; the full weekly locals schedule is on the Boynton Beach store page.

How ticketed Pokémon tournaments work

Sanctioned tournaments such as League Challenges are sold as tickets. Browse the event tickets collection, pick the Pokémon event you want, and complete checkout the same way you would for any order. Your ticket is your entry. Bring it up on your phone or print it, and our staff will check you in at the counter when doors open. Each ticket listing names the store, date, start time and format, so the listing itself is the place to confirm what is running next and where. Bigger events sit in our premier events collection when the stakes, and the prize support, are higher than a regular week.

What to bring and what to expect

Bring your own deck, sleeves, and a way to keep score if your format calls for it. If you need supplies before you sit down, our shelves carry sleeves, binders, playmats and deck boxes you can grab on your way to a table. Players of every experience level are welcome, from someone running their first sixty card deck to collectors who mostly come to trade between rounds.

Sealed and singles between events

Outside of tournament nights, our Pokémon selection covers both sealed product and singles, in store and online. If you are building a new deck, our Pokémon collection is the place to start, and our Pokémon singles collection narrows that down to individual cards for the binder or the deck you are building. If Disney Lorcana is more your game, we carry that too, with sealed product, singles and locals covered on our Disney Lorcana page.

Why Palm Beach County players come here

Players travel in from Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Lantana and Lake Worth Beach for the same reason: a real table, a real opponent, and a shop that carries the cards to back it up. Whether you are near our Wellington tables or closer to the Boynton Beach store on Hagen Ranch Road, you will find the same shelves, and the ticket listing tells you which store hosts each sanctioned event.

Frequently asked questions

When are Pokémon locals at Triad Boynton Beach?

Every Friday at 7:30 PM. Sign up at the counter when you arrive. Schedule changes are posted first on the store's Instagram and in the Triad Discord.

How do I sign up for a Pokémon tournament at Triad?

For Wellington events, find the event in our event tickets collection and buy your ticket online. That purchase is your registration, and you check in with staff when you arrive. For Boynton Beach, sign up at the counter or call 561-440-6111.

Do I need to bring my own deck and cards?

Yes. Bring your own deck and sleeves. If you still need cards or supplies, our Pokémon sealed and singles selection is available in store and online before the event starts.

What if I have never played in a tournament before?

You are welcome at the table. Our staff can point you to an event that fits your experience level, and plenty of players come in for the practice as much as the competition.

Can I just come to watch or trade?

Yes. You do not need a ticket to stop by the shop, browse singles, or trade with other players between rounds. A ticket is only required to enter a ticketed tournament itself.

Which Triad location should I go to?

For weekly Pokémon locals near Boynton Beach, Delray Beach or Lake Worth Beach, come to Triad Boynton Beach on Friday. For League Challenges and other sanctioned events, check the ticket listing; it names the store for that event.

Ready to play? Come by Boynton Beach on Friday at 7:30 PM, or pick your event from our event tickets collection, grab any cards you need from our Pokémon shelves, and we will see you at the table.
